About Us
HONARR (pronounced ‘hunar’) derives from the Persian word for art, craft, and talent - core values that define our approach to furniture design. We believe that living artfully begins with the spaces we occupy, and our mission is to create pieces that inspire beauty, purpose, and intention in everyday life.
Our founder and lead designer, Abdul Akrami, brings over 15 years of expertise in interior design and furniture manufacturing. His deep understanding of materials, craftsmanship, and spatial harmony allows us to design furniture that is both visually striking and highly functional. Every piece we create is a unique blend of curiosity and meticulous craftsmanship, thoughtfully designed to transform spaces and elevate the way people experience their surroundings.
At Honarr, we see furniture as more than just objects - it is an expression of artistry, a celebration of meaningful design, and a way to bring joy and inspiration into the home.
HONARR Core Philosophy
-
Form
Every detail of our furniture is thoughtfully crafted, resulting in a distinctive fusion of functionality and artistry.
-
Aesthetic
Each piece is an iconic statement, designed to draw attention and conversation.
-
Functionality
Furniture that serves a purpose, and that looks good whilst doing it.
Craftsmanship and Quality
At HONARR, we believe in never settling for less when it comes to style, functionality, or quality.
-
The journey for a quality piece begins in the components in which you choose to make it. We make it our mission to search for the highest quality materials possible to ensure that our products are perfect, down to the last fine detail.
-
With more than 15 years of experience, our founder and lead designer combines traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques to create high-quality products built to endure the demands of use, evolving trends, and the passage of time. After creation, we take the time to carefully quality check each piece personally to ensure every piece of furniture meets our high standards.
-
For us, the journey doesn’t end when the furniture leaves the workshop. We make sure that each piece integrates flawlessly into your space, offering support every step of the way, from delivery to the moment you start enjoying it in your home or workspace.

Imvelo Ambla Fabrics
We source our fabrics from Ambla. Imvelo fabrics replaces fossil PVC with non-fossil PVC, without compromising on the quality, meaning it is highly durable, flexible, and recyclable. Imvelo fabrics also ensure hygiene, offering protection from coronaviruses, C. Difficile, MRSA, and other harmful bacteria.

The Orbis - The Circular Economy In Action
Our Orbis Chair is the embodiment of our commitment to the circular economy. We believe that the ordinary can become extraordinary if given the opportunity, and that’s why recycled tyres are the centrepiece of the Orbis Chair.
By taking tyres and turning them into a beautiful piece of furniture, we’re supporting a more sustainable and circular system where materials are kept in use for as long as possible.
